Help! I dreamed I was pregnant! I’ve never even had sex, so what could it mean?

It’s natural for young women who haven’t had sex to dream that they are pregnant. Usually your body is simply thinking ahead to that day when, if you decide to have children, you will start carrying a baby inside you. It’s natural to wonder what it will be like; how you will feel when you are pregnant, how the baby will feel inside you. But pregnancies also can be un-planned, and your mind may be thinking about some of the consequences you run if you decide to start having sex. Your dream may be reminding you that there are powerful consequences to sex, and that you need to responsible for your future children. If you are thinking about starting to have sex, be sure to talk with your school counselor about safe sex and different types of contraception. Having children will be one of the most rewarding and determining events of your life. It’s an event you definitely want to plan for!
