My husband and I were at a party with lots of long tables with lots of people at them. We were sitting at the end of one table and then a girl came and sat half way up it. The girl was eyeing my husband, and then he went over and started to talk to her. I was chatting to other people sitting on our end of the table. After a little while I noticed my husband and the girl weren’t there anymore. Someone said to me they were under the table. I looked under and found them kissing and touching each other. She had her top open. I dragged them out and I started hitting the girl as hard as I could. I couldn’t stop hitting her. As she lay on the ground she turned into a fox.

Hi Lorraine -

Not too hard to figure this one out, eh? Did anything happen recently that may have caused your territorial instincts to flare? Did you catch your husband looking at some flirty girl, or perhaps just bump into one of those “types?” You know, the kind of woman who looks (and dresses) like she’d be happy to cheat with your husband - just to spite you?

I don’t get the feeling from your dream report that you are the jealous type. On the other hand, I am quite convinced that any woman who has eyes for your man had better watch out! :-) I hope your dream is just a simple jealousy dream - perhaps inspired by either of the two - relatively benign - causes suggested above. A balanced sense of possessiveness and territoriality in a relationship is healthy - and even sexy. You’re letting your partner know that you love, want, and desire them, and expect them to be faithful. Too much jealousy, as I suspect you also are aware, can cripple a relationship. You have to trust your partner to make their own decisions - and to make the right ones.

In the meantime, congratulations on letting that fox know who was boss. Like I said, the occasional demonstration of possessiveness - well - it’s sexy.
