I recently asked my mother to go to a certain club which she didn’t want me to go to. And so a couple of nights ago, I dreamt that I had asked her again and she said that the only way I could go was if she would come with me.

We went down on a organized bus, (and usually the teens drink the way down) and my mom got drunk with my friends. When we arrived at the club she got in (and it was a 14-18??) and she started dancing crazy on the tables and such. I was so humiliated. After that night she kept talking about how cool the club was and that she would come with me again and again.

This is a dream that I had many times during the same night. What does it mean???

It sounds like your Mom is a wild one! Does she usually dance on the tables when she’s been drinking?? The only thing she didn’t do is smooch with your crush!

It sounds like a bad dream come true. Who wants their Mom (or their Dad) hanging around when they’re partying with their friends?

Maybe you were thinking about ways you could get her to say “yes” to letting you go to the club. A lot of times, if our parents are worried about us doing something - like seeing an “R” rated movie or going to a certain part of town that might be dangerous - they’ll tell us we can go - but that they’re going to come with us. It’s always a bit of a let down, because half the fun is being on your own.

What’s the message of this dream? Don’t ask your Mom to come to the club! I doubt she’d drink and carry on like she did in your dream - but I think you’d be embarrassed to have her there anyway.

(And what if she did start smooching with your crush??)
