I have an incredible crush on this guy Chris, and I have totally loved him for about a year now. The other night I had a dream where he died in a car/bus accident. I was so sad he died. His best friend, Lee Brennan, died about 2 months ago in a car accident. I don’t know if they are related in any way. I recently kissed Chris, only to find out, the day before I had the dream, he had a girlfriend. What does this mean?

Hi Michelle -

I think your hopes of having a relationship with Chris “died” a bit when you found out about his girlfriend. This is why you dreamed that Chris died - he is no longer available to you. Dreams usually use the symbolism of death to represent change and transition - and someone’s “going away.” I think you dreamed that he died in a car crash because you know that Chris’ friend Lee died in a car crash only two months ago.

I am sorry to hear of Lee’s death. It must be a sad time for everyone who knew him. And I know that you were sad to learn about Chris’ girlfriend - but maybe you two will meet up another day. In the meantime - there are a lot of great guys out there - so keep your eyes open and don’t be afraid to say hello!
