I had this dream that I was at a family get-together and my crush, Andrew, was there with one of his friends. I saw them and began talking with them.

Then, his friend picked me up by the legs and Andrew caught my upper body just before my head was about to hit the ground. He lifted me up so that my head was right beside his neck. Then he began kissing my earlobe. I was about to kiss his neck when his friend let my legs go and was back standing in between the two of them.

Then his friend lifted my legs again, but he did it incorrectly and he wasnt able to lift me as he had done before. They tried lifting me a couple more times, but it wasn’t the same. They finally figured out what they were doing wrong, and lifted me again.

Later during the party, Andrew was sitting on the couch. He was sitting at the end of the couch and there was a small space beside him. I went to sit beside him, but I didn’t quite fit. So he pulled me onto his lap and we sat there holding hands and talking. We were about to go upstairs when dinner was called. We got our food and sat beside each other at a coffee table. That is when my alarm went off.

I know that this dream probably doesn’t mean much, but I’m just curious as to what it could possibly mean.

Hi Joanne -

Can we say, “Thrown for a loop?” I think there’s more meaning here than you may have noticed at first! :-)

A lot of times when people have dreams about their crush, everything is difficult. Either they never can communicate, or something keeps happening that never lets them come together.

In your dream (even though you didn’t get to plant that kiss on him), you were able to spend the whole dream together. First your crush “lifts you off your feet” and kisses you, then you both are holding hands and talking, and later on you sit next to each other and eat dinner together. Sounds like a pretty good date!

What’s the meaning? It’s time to make this dream come true! Why don’t you ask him to a coffee shop one day after school, or over for dinner, or to go bowling or ice skating with a group of friends? This is a dream date you don’t want to miss!
