My father passed away almost 6 years ago. Since that time, I have had 3 dreams where we visited one another and talked. He appeared happy in these dreams and at peace. Recently I had a dream about him but this time we did not talk. He was upset and had an angry look about him. He seemed sad and unhappy.

A week later, I was speaking with my mother who has suffered from emphysema, on oxygen 24 hours a day since my father’s death. Anyway, she went to her doctor because she has been having greater difficulty breathing for the past 3 weeks.

Do you think my recent dream with my father is his concern for my mother?

If you read some of the other dreams included in this section I think you will find that many people have experiences similar to yours. Communications from the deceased often are specific and poignant, and relate to important events occuring at a particular moment in time.

It is interesting that you had the dream prior to learning of your mother’s worsening condition. Given the context, it would seem logical that your mother’s problems are the source of your father’s concerns. I wish you the best of luck in this period of transition.
