You don’t give us a lot to work with here - but perhaps what you give is enough.

Do the words “monkey business” mean anything to you? In the United States, “monkey business” is an expression we use when we observe that someone is doing something they know they shouldn’t, or is trying to hide something from others. “There’s some monkey business going on there,” we say, or, “He’s up to some monkey business, that’s for sure.”

You don’t tell us much about your affair - if it’s love from afar, or if you are actively seeing this person - but I think you may feel some measure of guilt about it. Is there some monkey business going on there?
