Why trust the information on this site? Read about the man who did the scientific research!
Charles McPhee is the creator of dreamdoctor.com. He dedicated his life to learning and understanding the language of dreams at a young age. It was the focus of his undergraduate studies at Princeton University, where he wrote his senior thesis on lucid dreaming, later published by Henry Holt and Co. as Stop Sleeping through your Dreams: a Guide to Awakening Consciousness during Sleep. Because no graduate programs, even at the best universities in the world, offered much more than a few lectures on dreams much less an entire curriculum, Mr. McPhee began his professional career studying dreams from the vantage point of hospital dream laboratories. With the growing popularity of the Internet, he created dreamdoctor.com to collect and analyze dreams from around the world. Since then, he has amassed the largest database of dreams in human history. With that, he was able to prove that we all speak the same language in our dreams, but instead of words, the language is comprised of symbols. All of the information about dreams posted on the site is based on findings substantiated by that database.
