Injury

Symbol of emotional injury. If the wound is fresh, consider what recent event hurt you, that is impeding your emotional progress. Observing a wound on a person you know is recognition of emotional injury or weakness in that person. Wounds also can symbolize feelings of depression and draining emotional strength, especially if blood is present. Observing a wound on the genitals of a romantic partner may indicate feelings that your sexual relationship is unhealthy.
