What others have said about their Dream Appointments...

“Dear Charles,
Thanks for your quick response. Yes I had a very strong desire and feeling that a committed relationship with this person was possible. I can tell you that I have never quite felt the same way about anyone in my life. The deep spiritual connection was there from the start I think for both of us and I still sense a spiritual connection with him in many ways. I agree with your interpretation of my dream...I actually would have not thought of it in the way you had...and it was very nice to see your perspective. Thank you for listening. You seem to be a very kind man who tries to help people. And that’s a good thing.
— Laura, May 10, 2006

“Thank you so much Charles. The reason I got so involved in this dilemma is because I hate to see someone come this far into recovery and even think of relapse. Because, in essence, the thought of a relapse is generally where it starts. Just as you've said to callers when they have relapse dreams. If it's a guilty dream or a pleasurable one. It's all the difference. I thank you so much.
— Nancy May 09, 2006

“Hi Charles,
Thank you so much for responding to my dream. It has helped a lot. You really have helped me here. With the very best of wishes,
— Maria May 3, 2006

“Dear Charles,
Thank you very much for your lengthy response to my dream. I've read through it several times in the past couple of days, and your comments have helped me realize that I must walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
— Antonia, April 28, 2006

“Dear Mr. McPhee:
Your interpretation has been insightful and comforting. Since I have never dreamt about snakes, I knew you were the person who could help me decode the dream. Thank you very much!
— Sofia, April 27, 2006

“Hi Mr. McPhee:
Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate your response and am sorry I waited to respond, but I was in the middle of finals, papers, etc. This was one of those really vivid dreams I've had that I will probably never forget. I have a handful of those, and for some reason, as I get older, I seem to have more of them. I was truly worried that the dream was some sort of message telling my I wouldn't become a nurse :( I was really interested to read your interpretation of the plane in my dream. Given the "relative" who was a nurse in my dream, I assumed that the plane also had something to do with nursing, but I never considered it to be related to my marriage. Thanks so much again for the interpretation. It really has made sense to me.
— Lori, April 27, 2006

“Dear Mr.McPhee,
I can’t begin to tell you how informative your analysis is for me. I took your advice and I did track the timing, and they started in a time of my life when I had a divorce, and also lost my mother. I sense that I am trying to deal with some of the things that my Mom (who had emotional issues as I was growing up) may have done that affected my psyche. This is important to figure out,….now I can go back to therapy and maybe start talking about those things with my therapist. I would not have figured this out on my own! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DO. Keep up the good work.
— Jan, November 11th 2004

“Dear Charles, Your unambiguous analysis of my dream was just right on the "money". The interpretation you have done of my dream is so concretely obvious to my life .....it is the kind that will make one says How didn’t I think of it myself? but miss the forest for the tree..... Thank You so much....it makes now so much sense.....and it does lift the terrible sense of being dead to the living and still being amongst the living, the cruel rejection of my daughter.... The serene clarity replacing the painful abstraction of my nightmare! Thanks a zilliion for all your wise words and clever advice! I sure will act on them! .
— Hannah, November 4th 2004

“Dr. McPhee, Thank you for interpreting my dream. I was amazed at your interpretation. Until I read your interpretation of my dream, I could not pin down exactly what it was that I was feeling. It was too elusive. I know you cannot solve the problems of my life but I want to thank you sincerely for helping me to see what my dreams are trying to communicate to me. Regards, Juanita D.
November 5th 2004

“Dear Charles, I appreciate your insight on my dreams about my grandmother. It makes more sense now that this is a part of the grieving process and lack of closure, because in essence, there WAS a lack of closure between me and my grandmother. Nevertheless, I feel very fortunate to "see" her in my dreams, because it's a really nice feeling. Thanks for what you do. You bring comfort and understanding to many people, and it's greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Anna

— Elizabeth, October 11th 2004

“Hi Dream Doctor, I find it interesting that you would refer to my dream as “poetic” because that is what I do, write poetry. I will be making another appointment soon to discuss a couple of questions that I have about the dream world.
— Sharon, October 7th 2004

“Hi Dream Doctor, Thank you for responding to my dream. It was very unnerving for me also, as I stated I was afraid the next day and a few days afterwards. That is why I was so anxious for your response. I was glad to learn that death is not literal in dreams b/c I was upset about the dream. Thank you again for you interpretation.
—Catherine, October 4th 2004

“Hello Dr. McPhee, Thank you for the response. Your breakdown of my dreams was great. It really seems to piece everything together. Thanks for your help, ”

“Thank you so much for your reply - the 23 dollars was well worth the money. I have a great bunch of family and friends who know all about my disappointments that I use for my support system, but I will immediately seek a marriage counselor. Keep up the good work, and THANK YOU again.”
—Lynn, August 3rd, 2004

“First, let me thank you for your reply. I wasn't expecting it this fast with all of the requests you more then likely receive. You've probably heard this a lot but "You hit the nail on the head." It amazes me how something as simple as a dream can be so important to figuring out your own life.
Thanks again and have a great day.”
—Eric, Age 27, Bloomington, IL, USA July 14, 2004

“Hi Charles,
Many thanks for your reply. Having thought about it carefully, I think there is definitely a lack of passion and excitement in my relationship with my fiance. I think this is largely because we are still living with our parents. We discovered early on in our relationship that whenever we felt a spontaneous burst of passion, we simply couldn't act on it because of the lack of privacy. So the spontaniety died down after a few months. I feel our main problem is our lack of chances to have sex. Because we can't be spontaneous, we're not.
I look forward to your next reply.”
—Louise, Age 26, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND April 1, 2004

“Dear Charles,
Thanks i really do appreciate you responding. It really took alot of courage to give you the facts.Yes i am concerned and relieved after so many attempts at rehabilitation- he just kept walking out of the rehabilitation centres. I prayed so much to our Lord that whatever happened would be the best for Jose and I guess that was his decision. I continue praying that my son can be one of the very vew victims of heroing that make it through and break the chains within.
I have had so many dreams over the last month or so, yet i am not one of these people that often have dreams. Thanks again Charles.
Kind personal regards”
—Marissa, Age 41, Canberra, Australia Feb 23, 2004

Thank you for such a quick response. I would have never guessed the answer to be so simple. Still, when I read what you are saying, it makes perfect sense to me.
I have a friend, who has been troubled by dreams ever since her fiancee died in a car crash years ago, I may even pay her to send a letter to you. I truly believe you can help her sleep better. Again thank you, and have a great day. ”
—Jared, Age 25, LaPorte, IN, USA Sep. 4, 2002

“Dear Dream Doctor,
I appreciate your response. I am so pleased to know there is a place for me to have my dreams interpreted with such clarity.
You were absolutely correct in saying that the dreams I had about my husband occurred during a time when my relationship with him was especially frustrating. The second dream was, in fact, due to my concerns about his ugly side manifesting again after a brief period of calm in the relationship.”
—Annie M., Age 43, Shreveport, LA, USA Aug. 24, 2002
